Maleah’s interest in wellness and spirituality was sparked on a trip to Thailand during her early twenties, and led her to a career in Spa Therapy. While the spa environment offered much in the way of hands-on training, Maleah’s heart sought deeper connections with her clients. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for holistic health, Maleah soon began to build her home studio, Finding Realm. Maleah’s training has taken her from the Pacific Northwest to Hawaii, and spans various disciplines, from massage to health and body science. Maleah has been studying Reiki for over 15 years and is a certified Reiki Master Teacher.

As a trained Reiki Master Teacher and Spa Therapist, Maleah’s gift of healing is both instinctive and honed through years of professional training and experience. Finding Realm offers many variations of massage, each of which are mindfully administered according to individual needs and preferences.
Hot Stones
A combination of total relaxation and a deeper pressure from heated rocks, hot stone massage is a highly therapeutic tool. The stones are utilised as an extension of Maleah’s hands, placed with care and precision to encourage blood flow and healing. Ideal for those suffering from anxiety, chronic pain and illness. Each stone is hand-picked through prayer and intention on Salt Spring Island.
$100/60 minutes, $130/90 minutes
Relaxation/Swedish
A combination of traditional Swedish techniques and relaxation, Maleah uses smooth gliding strokes, cupping, tapotement (rhythmic tapping), and scooping. Experience a deep sense of relaxation, and a reprieve from stress and anxiety. Sleep may find you here.

Reiki
A traditional Japanese technique, passed down through Buddhist Monk Mikao Usui for stress reduction and relaxation, Reiki encourages the body to heal. Maleah uses “laying of the hands” and serves as a vessel for the life force energy to flow through to her clients. Through the pure magic of connection, benefits include: increased energy, relaxation, peace, emotional clarity and spiritual growth. Nothing could be more simple and natural.

Kua Lua Lomi Lomi
A TRADITIONAL HAWAIIAN BACK WALKING MASSAGE, PASSED DOWN FROM THE ELDERS. Kua symbolises the backbone, with the vertebras representing our soul’s lineage through many lifetimes. Lua is a form of Hawaiian martial arts and sets an intention of balance. THE TECHNIQUES REQUIRED ARE BEST SUITED FOR PHYSICALLY FIT OR LARGER CLIENTS, AND THOSE WHO LOVE DEEP PRESSURE, however Maleah is able to incorporate this treatment on a lighter scale for those sensitive to pressure. Physically, Kua Lua massage is ideal for those with upper or lower back pain and sciatica. Spiritually, Kua Lua is optimal for those looking for an emotional release.
